What a 3D gallery taught me about attention

What a 3D gallery taught me about attention

Putting my work on a wall instead of a grid made people slow down. Here is what I learned from watching them walk.

When I moved my portfolio into a 3D room, visits got longer, but that was not the interesting part. People stopped skimming. They walked from frame to frame like in a real gallery and read the labels.

Space creates order

A grid says everything is equal. A wall lets you hang the strong pieces at eye level and give quieter work more room. Hierarchy stops being a font size and becomes a place.

I would not build every site this way. But for a portfolio, where attention is the whole point, it changed how people remember the work.
